At Snape Maltings we want you to have the same great experience that you have when you visit our amazing location in Suffolk. We also want you to shop with confidence. 

All your items will be hand-picked and packed with care by our team.  We don’t purchase any single-use plastic for packaging purposes, and aim to use recycled and reused materials where possible.

 

How much does delivery cost

Deliveries are free for orders over £50 (excluding furniture) and Click and Collect, otherwise, delivery is £5.95.

How long does delivery take

Delivery timescale will vary depending on what you have ordered:

  • Small items will be dispatched within 2 to 3 working days via courier service.
  • For furniture or large items please view the furniture section below

Do you offer click and collect

Click and Collect is available for certain items. Please select this as your preferred option at checkout.

During the current Covid-19 lockdown, we will be open for Click and Collect at the Snape Maltings Food Hall. Please visit a till point with a copy of your order confirmation.

If you would prefer not to enter the Food Hall you can also collect your order directly from our stock location. Please go to the Stock Room door located at the front of the site. Park in the area adjacent to the road at the front of the site, close to the back of the Plough and Sail pub. Look for our white Stock Room door located under a flight of outside steps on the Retail building. Once there, please ring the bell.   

Returns and refunds

30 Day Return Promise.

If you are not happy with your purchase - for whatever reason - you can return it to us. As long as the item has not been used and is in the same condition as when you bought it, we'll be happy to offer an exchange or refund. Unfortunately, we do not cover the cost of the return if the item is not damaged. 

Once an item has been returned in its original condition, we will issue the refund using the same payment method you used for your original purchase. This can take up to 7 working days. 

Damaged items

If upon receipt of your order, there are any issues or any items are damaged, please let us know as soon as possible. We will offer you a refund or a replacement without delay.

How much does delivery cost?

We are currently able to deliver furniture and large items locally to Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridge, Essex and London via our in-house delivery team.

We offer either a 1 or 2 man delivery service depending on the size and weight of the item.

The correct delivery price will be added to your basket at checkout based on your delivery location.

To fulfil with Covid-19 compliance we ask that the following guidelines be followed:

  • That you, the customer or any other members of the household be socially distanced at all times.
  • That you, the customer or any other members of the household not be in the final room when unpacking and assembling the furniture.
  • That both the room and the route to the room is well ventilated with windows or doors open and that you provide a clear path through the property to the designated room. 

Our delivery team are having their temperatures checked every morning and are wearing protective face masks and gloves. They are also carrying hand sanitiser and antiviral wipes as additional safety measures.

If you or anyone else living at the property are showing symptoms, our delivery team will reschedule at a later date. The same applies if anyone in your home is currently shielding.

How long does delivery take?

For furniture

Once your order has been received and checked we will contact you to arrange a convenient delivery date.  Delivery can take up to approximately 10-15 working days, however we aim to delivery as soon as possible.

For made to order furniture

For our Made to Order collections please allow approximately 12 weeks for furniture orders (unless otherwise stated) as the furniture is ordered and made, especially for you. Once your order has been placed we can usually, if required, be more specific about expected delivery dates?

 

Returns and refunds

For furniture

If you’re not 100% happy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition and original packaging within 30 days for a full refund, excluding delivery and returns fees. You are responsible for covering the cost of returning items to us. Please take care to keep all packaging as we can only accept returns with the original packaging.

For made to order furniture

If you’re not 100% happy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition and original packaging within 30 days for a partial refund. Due to the nature of the bespoke furniture, we will withhold 20% of the retail price. We will also exclude the original delivery and returns fees. You are responsible for covering the cost of returning items to us. Please take care to keep all packaging as we can only accept returns with the original packaging.

Once we receive the order back, we will issue a full refund via your original method of payment. If it’s not possible we will contact you via phone or email.

Returned goods found to be used, damaged, marked or scratched will not be refunded or exchanged, and will be returned to you. This also applies if an item has not been packaged properly and has been damaged in transit back to us.

You cannot return items that require assembly, once assembly has taken place, unless of course if the item is faulty.

  

Faulty items

If you believe your item is faulty, please contact us within 14 days to organise a replacement or return.

Please DO NOT attempt to assemble or fix an item yourself or via a third party as this will affect your entitlement to a refund, compensation or reimbursement. We also ask that you do not return a faulty item without contacting our team first.

If an item is agreed to be faulty or defective, you will not be responsible for covering the returns fees.
