In November the festive anticipation begins, with the murmurings of Christmas plans, hopeful letters to Father Christmas and firelit, cosy evenings. At Snape Maltings we have an abundance of festivities over the coming weeks; from shopping for beautiful decorations and gifts, to magical family performances and our ‘Breakfast with Father Christmas’.
Decorating the tree
Nothing marks the start of the festive season like the family tradition of decorating the tree. In our Craft Shop and House & Garden, twinkly lights adorn our shops which are brimming with beautiful decorations. With our inspiring Christmas themes this year, we have a wealth of treasured trinkets for you to choose from.
Festive food & drink
Our Food Hall is full of Christmas treats, from the finest Italian panettone to festive condiments and an array of wines and spirits. It’s the perfect place to find a gift for a food lover, or why not create a bespoke hamper filled with a selection of seasonal favourites.
Family fun
Bring the family to enjoy one of our magical performances in December. Experience the high energy Co-op Juniors’ ‘Christmas Spectacular!’ or the enchanting
‘Nutcracker & I’. We will also be showing the children’s classic, ‘The Snowman’, with a live orchestra.
Father Christmas
We will have a very special guest for breakfast in December. Bring your little ones to enjoy a festive feast with Father Christmas. They will have the chance to meet him, share their wish list and get a little gift to treasure.
Maltings Gallery
This winter season our Maltings Gallery will be showcasing a mixed edit of emerging new makers and established East Anglian Artists. There will be ceramics influenced by the wide open skies, creeks, and marshes, limited edition prints, and exciting work from Naomi Munuo and many more.
